It makes me feel bad. When me and my husband first got married I weighed 120 lbs. I gained a little at first and he told me I was fat and I let it get to me and I just kept getting fatter. I have been losing the weight now and he has been telling me how good I look and that I am beutiful and I am fatter now than when he started telling me that I was fat which is silly. But don't let it get to you might start gaining more.

No one ever told me directly except one guy who told me when I was actually getting thinner, size 4. That made me feel crushed like it doesn't matter what size I am, someone will always think I'm fat. NoW I AM fat of course, but working back down....

It used to bother me but as I have gotten older I don't care what anyone thinks or says. I realized the criticism was usually coming from a person who has their own body issues and it didn't have anything to do with me. My body is my body, no matter if I fluctuate 10 pounds here and there. I am not letting anyone else define me by their impossible standards.

like smacking them. My definition of fat is not the same as others and when someone else tells me how my body should look i get very angry.

I feel like they have issues with their own weight or are just incredibly tactless.
