im doing a debate on tuesday and i need some points on why obese people should have to pay MORE for their health care...e.g why should we have to pay for their care...they spongue off the NHS and pay the same ammount in taxes although they need more care...ect. please help

I was at the grocery store the other day, grabbing some salad, and this little old lady comes up to me and warns me not to eat spinach because of what happened recently in the news.

I'm like "dude, there were only a few cases of people getting sick, it was a fluke you old retard."

I've thought about this for a while....generally speaking, why are people so easily led? From easily-disproven scary news stories, marketing schemes, to religion. People are being lied to and capitalized on.

I know someone will respond sarcastically by saying something about how I think I'm the smartest person in the world.

I'm not, I'm just a normal guy.

I just wonder about stuff sometimes and I want good answers. Like scientific ones. Really, why do people follow others so easily?

Me and my wife are going through a divorce.She left me in Oct.06
She live with her parents.We have two kids together.My wife pays me child support next month.Their no court order on who has custody right now.She has 2 jobs.she takes them to school and picks them up.The kids stay the night with me.How would the court make a decision.
My wife has a history of leave me or not paying her share of the house bills at times . Her parents gives her keys to their house. Tell her she welcome back any time.I talk to the parents saying by giving her the keys and telling her she welcome back. Me and her are going to have problems.They said we should both talk i say she won't listen. I live in the house we brought.Thier no police record of volience on me or her.She easily influneces by other.The last 6 month we both committ adultery.We both told each other the reason why we did it.I told her i don't see the lady any more.She tells me she in love with the guy and bring the kid around him.

Christians tend to think that complex structures we see in the Universe must point to an Intelligent Designer..

I for one feel that God is a horrible Designer and the human body is saddled with vulnerability to viruses and bacteria, vestigial traits and weak physical attributes (compared to many mammals)

I give God a 4/10.

My bread machine has presets for everything, so could it be im adding too much of something, I have reduced the amount of salt (by half) and sugar ( by a third) going into the mixture, any help would be appreciated, please help as im on the breadline here....lol

there's this guy, A, and i kinda like him,I know him quite well and we've been pretty good friends.One day,one of my friends,B,was really suspicious with him they were glancing at me and whispering and stuff,right after that B asked me what i thought about A.So i just had this little thought that A liked me.So i told 2 of my best friends, C, and D. They agreed with me.Then there was this guy,E.I don't really know him but he does know A. D was pretty close "friends" with E, and D told me that E told A that I thought he A liked me and that i was a stupid ugly girl. But then months later i saw the connection,the only 2 ppl i told about A liking me were C and D,and no one else.And C didn't even really know E,but D was pretty tight with E.A used to treat me like i didn't even exist but now he's better,but we were never like we were before.I'm really pissed off at both D and E.What should i do? they ruined my chances with A!!
