The two answers I see are incorrect. Yes no interest for three years. But do you qualify for a AUTO LOAN that you can pay off in just 3 years? Mis a payment late pay only once then you have to pay the total interest. A good sedan 36 months $33,000 car loan = 1,427 a month. Or Cadilac Esclade $56,000 car loan 36 months = 1,555 a month. Or a basic Chevy Pick up truck 23,000 loan 36 months $638. payment. Insurance Tax Title licence plates? You only thought sharks lived in the sea. Car buying people get caught up in the moment and buy, then realise, because they wanted a specific payment 0% was not offered. Be very careful.

It means IF you qualify you can have a car loan for 0% interest. What most people find out is they can NOT afford the monthly installments required to pay a loan off in 3 years, or their credit isn't the best.
Then, the details come out in the finance office at the dealership what they WILL finance, the length of the loan and at what APR.
It's a gimmick on the high-end car models.

APR means on approved credit in other words a credit check and if your credit is good no interest will occur for 6 months but read the fine print when the 36 months are up you are expected to the accumulated interest!

Usually 0% offers are limited to those in the top 15% of credit scores. Roughly a FICO or Beacon score of 750+. Folks with worse credit can get a lower than normal rate but not zero. Often times there are rebates one can get instead of 0% or 4.99% or whatever.
