No. You don't need to go out and recruit anyone. It is a big turn-off to many. If anyone is interested in your religion, they'll seek it out on their own without help.

I think that just about every one has already heard the Xian pitch on religion by now. Just because some of us don't accept it, why is it necessary to keep pestering us about it ? If there ever was a time when evangelizing was acceptable (and personally I don't think it was) that time has long since passed. Now here this: Some people don't agree with you! You guys can stop preaching now! You will have better luck converting a mule than you will ever have with me so why not leave us alone. OK, that's all. Goodbye.

Yes I do but not when it is used to solely win people over to our/my side, too many who do this are basically interested in the validity of their own cause too much, and not in the welfare of the person involved as should be the case.
isn`t the reason sometimes more to what the denomination or side is than leading the person to Christ, it is more important that the converted be saved in Christ than who`s club they are in,and sometimes this is forgotten for the self seeking glory of hey , that`s another increase in my/our denominational church.
as for this television evangelization it is subtly used to this end, and is the lazy mans way of evangelizing, these people like the comfort and acclaim of the studio medium, and never seem to take the trouble of actually witnessing to Christ in the filthy slums of the world as real evangelists do, and they parade their good deeds, like the Pharisees before men, to gain applause and admiration, they have had their reward already, get out of the comfort of the T.V studio and get your hands dirty and stop adoring the mighty dollar.

Yes I do believe in Evangelism, it is a very important part of life for Christians, and believers of Jesus Christ. In todays society people think that Evangelism is a religion, but it's not. Self proclaimed evangelist are leading people astray: " If you send a seed of 1000.00$ Jesus will save your soul and give you life eternal." I've heard that a million times and really disgusts me. To Evangelize is to teach to others the words of scripture....and that doesn't come with a price tag.

Preachers have a gift of speaking. But I read somewhere that "the teachers have to teach the preachers". Many preach what they have been told to believe. Whereas
the nature of the teacher, is to look in whatever writing is being preached, and
makes sure that's what it says.
My knack is that of the teacher. But I find many preachers don't like being "preached"
to.

Absolutely not! I think they are a loud and dangerous group of people. And somewhat annoying. I wish they'd leave the ones who don't want to believe in their tenets alone.

Yes, all 'Christians' are "ambassadors for Christ". All people who 'claim' to be Christian yet who are greedy, sexually immoral, drunkards, abusive, idolatrous, or swindlers, are considered so filthy by God that we (Christians) are not supposed to associate with them. That includes Benny Hinn.
