I have been doing some reading and soul searching of late and i am confused. The ten commandments say 1.I am a jealous God and you shall have no other Gods before me (basically). Jesus says that only through him can i get to God and heaven. Questions: Is Jesus speaking figuritively or do i really have to use his name in my prayers? Does bringing Jesus`s name into my prayers and including Jesus along with God almighty break the first commandment? I have always been of the opinion that i should only pray to God and give him all my heart. To bring in the names of saints or even Jesus seems to go against the 1st commandment. But...from what i have been reading it seems i may be making a mistake. God is everything to me and this is troubling me as i wish to do things right and not dishonor God or Jesus. Please read this carefully and answer all the questions as clearly and plainly as possible. This is very important to me. Thanks for your time in advance and Peace to you all.

This is a friend of mine, who has always been active and likes sports, but has recently been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees. She was advised to lose weight too, so the knees would not have to work hard carrying the extra weight.

like the notion of equality are unhappy because they have no family or a divided family due to a divorce! Kids are suffering for the lack of family values with both parents working! Why cannot women adopt the roles that are most suited to them? Their are certain roles in nature that only a female of the species can fulfill? Why fight that? Are we looking to make our human species extinct? Keep in mind the later date of having children, it's effect on their health, declining birthrates because of women pursuing careers etc! They are as capable as men but they have a much more important role to play than men destined by nature! Why are women trying to compete with men, we are supposed to love and raise families with the opposite sex!

This guy that I used to like really hates me & I he told his friend that was on my friends list to delete me from it because she isn't on my friends list anymore & etheir is he.
She deleted me from it a week after he deleted me from his.
I talk to someone that he used to work with & who he is friends with.

What if he tells that guy bad things/bad stuff about me & calls me bad names like a whore?
(1.) Do u think the guy will believe him???

What if he tells that guy not to talk to me anymore?
(2.) Do u think the guy will listen to him & not talk to me anymore???

(3.) How will/would I know if that guy tells that other guy bad things/bad stuff about me & calls me bad names like a whore to him???

(4.) How would I know if he tells that guy not to talk to me anymore???

my daughter was due to have her first baby 2 weeks ago - and i still don`t know if she has had it. me and my husband - her step father who loves her very much are not allowed to get in touch with her. her husband has taken her mobile away and watches her every move. she can`t do anything without asking him first and if she wants to go out, it has to be with him. me and my daughter were always incredibly close till he came along and for some reason he made it clear he dislikes us. they live in a "show home" and the only time we went round there we had to leave our shoes on the doorstep. i was so worried i may spill my cup of tea as everything was so perfect. we were so uncomfortable. when they came round to our house i`m afraid we were drinking and smoking after a hard days work and he said we live like pigs. we don`t i promise. we just work hard. i cant get in touch with her, she lives 40 miles away, we dont have a car. i have tried everything to get in touch, please what shall i do?

I eat healthy and dont over eat,I take a jog every morning for an hour,and then i do track in gym class for an hour ,and then after school im ona swim team and we do 50 meter sprints for 2hours.Im 14 and weighing 130 lbs already i dont know y im gaining weight whne im watching my eating and exercising constantly?
