Respond with peace and love. If people believe bad things about you, they either do not know you well, or they are revealing their own character.

Life is never free of conflict, but you can still be happy. And your happiness will draw people to you.

it really dosn't matter what other ppl will be saying about you cuz ppl always "talk" you should be nice to everyone even the guy thats talking bad about you. you ever hear this b4: what goes around comes around? well one day he'll know exactly how you feel. so just be yourself, let ppl see your good side without getting all mad and spreading things about the guy, this will only make things worst and besides your true friends will be your friends thru thick and thin no matter what so if that person deleted you from the list and wouldn't talk to you anymore, they wornt your true friend in the first place. don't be depressed about it, go out right now and do something you like everything will work out for the best!

Yeah, ya' know, there'll ALWAYS be some who'll badmouth you. When you're in a circle of friends, people, and some are behaving the way you're describing, well, it just looks to me like this is your chance to act on your impulse to stand tall, develop, grow up some. You don't have to be pulled down to the level of behavior these guys are acting with.
So, try this:
When unkind things are said, CONSIDER THE SOURCE. Others know who's doing the badmouthing, and how that goes on a lot. They know who exaggerates, taunts, slanders, stirs up trouble and laughs when others are hurting. If you remain above it, others will see your conduct as well. People will have a good notion if you're a ho or not, and will simply be watching the show, as this guy (or others) does his thing, trying to stir up the drama.
You can watch too (don't respond and get sucked into it), and my bet is that sooner or later that guy will either trip his own self up, or SOMEbody's gonna' take offense and FUR WILL FLY.
Remember my favorite quote, by Eleanor Roosevelt: "you may as well do what you think is right, you're going to be criticized anyway".
Be good to yourself and keep tight with the friends who consistently treat you right.

I would let the guy you like or are talking to that he is going to spreading rumors because you all had a bad past. I dont think he believe them as long as you tell him the history of it. If he wont talk to you anymore, that is his loss!! I dont think the guy will listen to him, im sure you can tell him the history and he will ignore the rumors of the guy. I would just ask him if the guy says anything about you. IF he likes you he should take up for you. I dont know if you would know he told the guy anything. I am not for sure if he would tell you or not. I would just let the new guy knwo what is going on. Good luck.

Ok.. took a while to read but I just have one thing to say. Not everyone likes everybody. He just doesnt like you and you can't force him to. Give him time, he'll come around. Just be a good friend and everything else will fall into place. Good Luck! :-D

Stop worrying about what others say about you...if it was really meant to be then this new guy won't listen to any of the negative things he has heard!
