Currently, I am taking birth control pills every day to help my period-it was extremely late, and the gyno said I needed to bring it on somehow. However, since I started taking the pills I have gained about 10 pounds, and I really want to get it off, but it seems like the pills are making it harder for my body to get rid of the excess weight. I have been exercising regularly and sticking to a very healthy diet, but my weight's just staying the same. Is it the pills?

Why is it that prisoners are given tranquilizers and anti-anxiety medications leading up to their pending death? Why are we wasting money making them more comfortable? I have learned that they are given the option to be put to sleep before the lethal injection! I believe that they should be forced to deal with the whole situation and be conscious during the whole thing, Chances are they didn't give their victim an option.

I've narrowed my pet choice down to either a chinchilla or a guinea pig (or possibly a rat). What are the differences between a guinea pig and chinchilla as far as care/cost/cage size/cleanliness, etc. Which would be friendlier? Im really looking for animal that likes to be held and played with.

my mum put me in foster care when i was 13 because we dident get along ect i now talk to her and vist she also looks after my son on tuesdays when i am at work but my foster carer is saying i am a bad mum for letting my child be with my real mum but i know my mum loves him and he is happy everytime i come home he wouldent be like that if she was emotinaly abousing him would he? but i am really upset by my foster mum saying this she also said that my son would be ****** up in the head like me when he is older which i dont think he will i love and care for my son and know my mum has turned her life around and i wouldent let anyone hurt my child i would kill them if they even tried can anyone give me some advice and please dont take the piss because my spelling isent perfect

I'm a 64-year old woman thinking of moving to Mexico (from California). I'm an experienced independent traveler, speak a little Spanish, and can accept the laid-back culture of Mexico. I have a small monthly income for life, although I can teach English and am credentialed and experienced.

One concern I have is how to get my stuff there! Moving companies are very expensive, and I don't want to take much, just clothes, books, kitchen stuff, and the computer.
I don't think I should take my car down. Driving is too weird or dangerous, and having a car in Mexico a big pain, from what I've read.

Can one ship things down by UPS?

Also, can anyone recommend smaller towns, somewhere on or near the Pacific coast, with some ex-pat's but still affordable?

I do my best not to upset her, but she's most of the time unhappy. We fight and then make up. I love her but I can't take it much longer. We talked about it, she says that i shouldnt upset her anymore. I think she's too spoiled. I know it's our problem and we need to talk and resolve it ourselves, but we already did that and it didn't work. Maybe some of you had experienced something like this and have some advice for me.
