My mother passed away and I took her cats. Two of them have verly bad matted fur. These cat had pretty and soft furs until about 6 month ago. I would like to get them back.

Where I live I have noticed a pretty big jump in prices and was wondering if my market was merely adjusting to the norm or if I am simply getting jacked. I realize that both Coke and pepsi recently raised their prices on their Juices, but I am simply talking about Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero. etc and not the juice or energy drinks

I don't mean to offend, but I get really sick of the tired old direct sales tactic- send out a cutsie and personalized invitation to someone's house so you can give them your money for crap you don't want. Just in the last month I've been "invited" to parties for Mary Kay, Pampered Chief, Layers, a Sleepover party, Cookie Lee and Usborne books. I think they're all overpriced and a waste of time I could be spending with my hubby when he gets home from work. If I don't buy, I feel guilty. If I do, I end up feeling lide I paid too much for a product I could buy at Target (except Usborne, I think they have a good product.) I don't think it's right for people to depend on their friends and neighbors for an income, whether large or small.. What's your opinion?

For months now I have had a problem digesting food. I have gone to the only place I can afford medical care (county health department) and they don't seem to know what they are doing.
I have loose stools most of the time, I have bm 4-5 times a day, sometimes having to get up from the dinner table to go to the bathroom. A lot of times I have severe pain before the bm. When I have to go, sometimes it creeps up on me and I can hardly make it to the bathroom. I can't take it anymore. I have tried changing my diet and that hasn't worked. Anyone else with this problem? What might it be and what else can I do for it? And yet I keep gaining more and more weight.
I'm afraid I may die one day from this if it's serious. I'm unemployed and poor and for some stupid reason I don't qualify for state medical aid. What can I do?????

I live in a condo in Toronto. One of my toilets would not stop running. The superindent offered to fix it for $ 20. I bought the new flushing mechanism at Home Depot. The super came to install it. In the process he cracked the water tank. A new water tank costs as much as a new toilet. Would you buy a new toilet for about $ 200 and get a rebate from the city for $ 60. or look for a used water tank. But where would you look. Also how much would a plumber charge to install the new toilet?

A pet is like a very small child who can't tell you what is wrong. I agree that I go to the pro's when in doubt or in need of prescription meds. But give guidelines. If you need to ask here, probably you should ask a vet, but the expense could really hurt pet ownership in general. The newer you are to the type of pet you have, the more you need to have Qs answered by someone who actually sees your pet, but every little thing, come on folks, do you go to the doctor that much?
