If he is just your friend, you might just be looking into things too much.

The difference between a keeper and a non keeper should go a lot deeper than cards and gifts. To know if a man is a keeper give yourself some time with him. Make sure he has a good attitude and make sure you can live with him. Having a boyfriend that you do not live with is completly different from living with your boyfriend. So look a lot deeper to answer that question

As much as we'd like it to be this way, you can't judge if someone is a "keeper" by gifts and things of that sort. Wouldn't that make things easier?
In your life time MANY men will give you flowers and gifts and obviously they aren't all going to be keepers ;-)
Pay attention to more important things. You want someone wo is going to respect, admire, love you and be honest with you. Anyone can buy you a stuffed animal and flowers... it takes someone special to REALLY win your heart.

deidre: The best relationships are founded on friends first then, lovers after. Yes; this could be moving on to another phase in your friendship. Be careful though, no to read too much into it right now. Go s-l-o-w and take things gradually that are said and savour each moment. You sound like you want relationship to go up another notch or so. Hope things "pan" out for you. (By the way; don't force things - just take them as they come and acknowledge the card / gifts - how you say things to him is more important than what you say at this point.) Good luck to ya !!!

dont jump the gun on this one. It could mean alot of things. but you cannot tell if he is a keeper just by flowers and a toy or card.

It just say that he is sweet. But not necessarily a keeper. In my opinion a keeper must be a good man. A responsible and caring man.

Maybe. What color were the flowers and what did the card say? Yellow flowers mean friendship, you know what red means right?

No offense, but I hardly see how either relates to one another. The guy could be the hugest jerk and give those gifts. You could have a guy who just gives you that gift just so he can try to get in your pants. But to look past the somewhat pessimistic views- it is sweet of him to give you a gift.

He might be, but you can't always tell by getting a gift from someone. If you really want this guy tell him how you feel and see if he feels the same way about you. My opion, he does have feelings for you. Well good luck! :)

depends, any guy can just give a cute card or flowers, you need to look at his personality and not what his money can buy
