Unfortunately, yes....you can be both. Satanism seems to be dedicated to power and the hate of love. While christianity seems to be for love. The only problem is, too many christians also have a lot of room in their hearts for power and hate. They do this by lusting after material items and just about everything that is makes them feel important and powerful. They have room for hate in their heart as evident by the close-minded attitudes they display toward groups that are different than they are, such as, homosexuals, and other religious groups etc.
The scary part in all this is that a christian doesn't even know theyv'e sold their soul, while a satanist does.

No it isn't possible.
Think about it this way.
Christianity is supposed to teach you to love your neighbor as well as you love yourself, and tells you to forgive transgressions.
At that same time, is it possible for you to subscribe to Satanism - a belief system which teaches you to look out for self first, and get even with the other guy at all costs?
No way. The two are directly opposed to one another. Polar opposites.
You can't serve 2 masters.

I read a few of the satanists laws or rules. many of them like you say make sense. Now, I'm not saying I'm a satanist or anything like that. I'm not a christian neither. My religion is a compilation of many religions. Is anybody like me? Why? Many things on every religion don't make sense, but why? The same "believers" of each religion make each religion not to make sense sometimes. Got me? I don't wanna talk about a religion in particular, but let's say for example the typical guy that goes to church because "that's what my mom told me to do when i was young", but doesn't do it because his heart truly feels and believes it. Now, ins't true feelings and beliefs what motivate a religion?. They contradict themselves in many ways, and these acts have changed my way of thinking.

No. you cannot serve two masters. Think of it like this...if you were on a diet and could only have one thing for dessert, you would want to preview all of your options but it would boil down to choosing one and sticking with it. Now I like devil's food cake as well as the next person but I do not think it would factor into how I choose my religion. Of course I suppose that analogy is sort of flawed in that I would want to try a bite of each instead of simply looking at them...I am a sucker for chocolate.

You MUST believe in the Judeo-Christian faith to be a Satanist. People who don't embrace the Jewish, Christian or Muslim belief system couldn't care less about Satan. He's just a scary monster invented to control people.

I think that many Christians are Satanists because they believe that Satan has powers as strong as God's. They may not worship Satan but they give him the power of a god.

Which Satanism do you mean?
If you mean the Church of Satan, then the two are pretty much mutually exclusive, since the Church of Satan was created to oppose Christianity.
If you man worshiping Satan, then you have to be of the Christian faith. You can't acknowledge Satan without acknowledging his nemesis (though you could be Muslim instead of Christian).

"No man can serve two masters." You may be Christian and believe in christ, but you may also be follow Satan. So yes you can, but that would be the worst possible sin you could do and I wouldn't suggest it.

Do you mean to believe in two complely opposite things in one at the same time?
isn't that a mental paradox?
Sounds interesting. do you think you can pull of the mental gymnastics?
