I need ETHERNET CAT5e direct connection help

NOT: USB, parallel port, infared, etc.

Well to do this you have to create a crossover cable first (go to here to learn how to do it http://www.littlewhitedog.com/content-8.html), after that just connect it to the network port of the computers, restart and it should be set up.

The network configuration of the network cards should be set to DHCP (before restarting), do this by going to the properties of the network connection, select TCP/IP and set it to Obtain the ip address automatically and the same for DNS.. Click in OK ant that's it..

Go to your local computer store and buy a Cat 5e or 6 Crossover cable.

That cable will only work from PC to PC with nothing in between.
