Eat a pair of socks that have been worn by a mongoose for 4 days or shove a nail through your nose?

Definitely eat the socks as mongeese feet are pretty small. I'd cut the socks up even further though and down them with a beverage.

Nail through nose why not have an extra piercing and I could accessorise dangle a sock from it!

sox of course. would boil wash them, then pop them in the blender with curry spices, garlic, ginger, chilli, etc., to make a huge and awesome curry. Mongooses (mongeese?) are small creatures, and although they have four feet, you did say a PAIR of sox, so just two little boottee type things - no sweat.

I'd say a sock then i would stick the nail through his nose for been such a smell bugger.

Funny question Mike! I'd eat the sock but only after I had shredded them, deep fried them and eat with sweet chilli sauce. You know it makes sense.
