Hi all,

I am a recent graduate of a major university with a degree in engineering. I am about six months into a career in consulting, and certainly enjoy the engineering profession. But I have found myself wanting to serve my country and do something more exciting while I am still young. Enter, the Navy.

My main concern in doing this is the toll it will take on my wife. I realize that my absence is a "necessary evil" of the armed forces, and I would like to obtain a realistic impression of how much I will be away.

I am looking to become an officer, and find myself initially interested in working with submarines. But I am open to suggestions.

I want to make a steak that is medium - rare (I like a bit of blood in the middle). Am I best to cook the steak slowly on a low heat or quickly on a high heat? Any other steak related tips would be appreciated too (sauces etc...)

I have a friend, she is in the same age with me. She is sweet, nice, honest, and funny. But that was before i knew her deeply. Inside, she is a childish person, and she has hurt my friends' feeling because of her attitude.

Along the way home, taped to a telephone pole was the following poster....

MISSING
Lost: Dog
Color: Black and white with patches of fur missing
Other: Limp on right leg, left ear missing, three teeth remaining, may have saliva coming out of mouth, nose is scratched, has only 1 eye, no collar, and has some problems with his degestive system. Goes by the name of 'LUCKY'

I couldnt believe it when i saw it....it made me giggle...do you find this funny / ironic as well?

I drive a 00 explorer, and when I try to open my locks, the gray rod sometimes get caught on the inside and wont open, it locks every time but sometime it gets caught on the inside, does anyone know what simple method I can use to fix it and If I do need a repair how much?
