Anywhere from $14 to $40 dollars a month depending on how many options you choose and for how long.

Get ready for a lot of rejection, which is standard in dating. Match just accelerates it. You meet a lot of people quickly, but don't be surprised if someone doesn't get back to you quickly. Some people are shy even though they posted a profile.

Don't be a nuisance and jump to conclusions when someone stops communicating. I met many people who had obsessive people drive them crazy. One woman met a 44 year old man who was successful, building his dream home, & good-looking. But he still lived with his mother and planned on moving her in with him into the new house.

I was accused of being a stalker twice because they stood me up and I sent a couple of short e-mails asking what happened. That is the farthest from my personality, but it's easy to sit behind an on-line profile and type whatever you want without the other person knowing you.

Also, people mis-represent themselves. Always meet in a public place at first. Just be caustious about you safety - both men and women.

I met my wife through match and it has been great. 3 years of marriage.

There were once stories in the news about how Match.com and yahoo.com personals both had fake profiles to draw more monthly members, and they even occasionally had the members go on fake dates!

Just use caution. I'm sure some have found success, but don't turn your thinking cap off when signing up. Do it for awhile and get a feel for if it's real, and if it's not working, save your money and maybe try one of the "real life" agencies like Great Expectations.

Them dating sites are nothing promicing.., your lucky if you find that special somebody.., you never know she/he may just be on another site. that happened to me.., I was on Match -dot- com. and it did nothing for me. There was no hope..because it differs in everyone. Nobody can tell you how successful because its everyone's personal success.

I've been on match for a year and a half, almost 2. I've never had anything work for more than 2 weeks. It's ADD dating.

It worked for me.... i think it was about £20 for a month... if you dont find anyone in six month you get six months free.

I went on loads of great dates then met the right one..... i was at a party a few weeks ago and there were another five couples who had met on there.

Lot of fakes on there, but I've met a few good people. The cost depends on how long you subscribe for.

I do not remember what I paid, I was on less than a month and I am now marrying the man of my dreams. Thanks Match.com!
