Go to the dealership and order or buy the grommet's for the rod. If you don't know how to remove the door panel, you will have to take it to someone who can. Either a mechanic or body shop can fix it. The body shop would be a better idea, and they may even have some of the grommets in stock for them. The panel is a bear to remove and replace, so I would have it done. It would cost somewhere around 75-125 bucks to have it done. I'm just guessing on the price, as the prices vary around the country. It's about a 2 hour job, and they charge about 50 bucks an hour labor, so you can figure the labor plus the parts. I hope this helps you out.
I notice some answers don't even answer the question, and gets a vote for best answer?? The answer above did nothing more than copy what you had asked, and never gave you anything about the price. The buddy system works great hu?
I hope I have been of some help to you. Good Luck!!!

If you know how pull the door panel and put a washer in the pivot point and that should do it. It is probably just wore and has slack in it and is catching on some thing.
