That's about right. You have no choice in the matter. A company can save a huge amount of money by using a monthly pay schedule rather than weekly. In this way, they can secure your job or afford other benefits. Be glad they are making a wise financial decision.
Just put a little more money in the bank for a few weeks to compensate and get over it. Sorry.

Hi Chris, Speaking from experience I had tell you I understand the fear you must be feeling. I remember when my husband went to once a month pay and I was terrified! I can tell you now I am so glad that happened to us! All the bills are paid on payday and we have learned to live with what is left and it has been very easy! I no longer had to hold money over from payday to payday to meet the bills. I took it one step further and set up everything that I could to be auto-deducted out of our bank acct. so all I have to do is deduct it out of the register. Knowing that the bills are paid on time each month and all the money is there for them has taken a load off of my husband and me. It truly was the best thing that we went to once a month. I hope this helps your fears.

I get paid monthly and I love it.
All that money at once makes it feel like it is a real genuine payday because the payoff is so big.

Go to the ACAS website - they can give you the correct answer. I think it depends on what is written n your contract. They have lots of info on there already or you can email them with your query and they will reply individually. xx

Not much you can do except adjust to the change. You don't have to like it but you do have to deal with it and it is happening to everyone...nobody singled you out.

You have to accept it, it's a new policy, but they should give you notice so you can make any arrangements necessary.
