Hey, Im wondering if anyone knows any good artists, possibly low key, none mainstream music? I really cant stand the sh** thats played on the radio. I listen to the Beatles...Ben Harper, ben folds, the BOB MARLEY haha damien marleys real good too...i saw him at a show with ben harper. such a great night, anyways. john mayer is surprisingly very innovative....simon n garfunkel, sublime the who....ect. o eminem, tupac! cant forget my gangsta side lol. im really open to any genre it just has to be music from the heart you know? ANyways lemme know if you know anything thats struck you and made you think =)

So many words in English are derived from Latin or Greek or French or the Germanic languages but I need the word that is in fairly common English useage - a word that most of us will have heard of even if never used in conversation.

Okay, I was late to pick up my kid from his work which is at a small restaurant in a busy city area. I immediately saw a parking space and went for it, then after cutting infront of someone to get to it, I realised it was for disabled people only but since I was late I didnt bother backing out so I got out of the car pretending to limp and after 10 yards or so started walking normally.
Then after getting my kid I saw my car had "bi**h" scratched onto the side door and bonnet.
I mean what sort of sicko does this?!?!?!

Is anyone familar with the Black Soroites Sterotypes...the reason I ask, is because I've been to a few greek events and I notice that AKA's or Alpha Kappa Alpha's are always eyeing me down, or they'll come up to me and speak..and none of the other one's tend to do that...Do AKA 's tend to gravitate towards a certain type of person?

It drives me nuts because she sends me so much forwared email that I'm getting repeated crap now. Its not even funny stuff, its like weird religious guilt trip stuff. I can't put her on my spam list because once in a while she sends me a real email. I delete her crap, but sometimes its a whole slew of garbage at a time.
The worst was when she sent me a really scary chain email and I politely asked her not to send those anymore, and she still does!
I know this situation isn't a huge deal, but it really annoys me for some reason. Does anyone have similar mother in law problems or a polite solution? Thanks!!!

I have been installed Window media 11 for Window Xp but i cant minimize media player (Stay on Taskbar like this http://lifehacker.com/assets/resources/2006/08/windowsmedia.png). Right click on Taskbar line Toolbars i do'nt see "Window media player" .How i can Enable mini player mode.

My son who is so incredibly stubborn (just like me) is sick and refuses to take his medicine without at least an hour of discussion / arguing over its importance, i really have no idea how i convinced him to take it before his bedtime this evening, but he did willingly. Does anyone have any ideas or techniques that works for your kids to get him or her to take their medicine without so much trouble???? (I have already done putting it in his milk, he still tastes it and wont drink anymore than one or two sips just to make sure it is actually contaminated with his medicine!)
