thay cannot forgive or reconcile with their parents?

at d old students re-union i was surprised at the number of women who had a grudge against their mothers and the number who men who blamed their parents for their misery.

there was a woman who felt that her parents had squashed all her dreams when they paid for her brother's medical education. they had no money left for her, so she had to work for a living just after high school. the brother has moved on and now she has to look after her parents single handedly. she is glad she has them, but always wishes that they had paid for her education. as as kid she always wanted to give them a big house and happiness.

then there were people whose parents had seperated when they were small. they never had a parent, and have not been able to forgive the parent that brought them up for creating the vaccum in their lives.

the question is: with so much bitterness against their parents, will they ever be able to make it to heaven??

Almost everything has SOME calories in it, excluding water... but I'm curious. If you eat a LOT of fruit and veggies in the day, along with regular breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, can that cause you to gain weight?

My anti virus doesn't propose me to repair but only to delete or move or the quarantine!

I hit a deer and the insurance co. is sending a check for the damages. The amount of the check is for what I was quoted for to repair my damages. Is there any way possible to use the check and put it towards getting a new car entirely? I think that would be fraudulent, but I'm not sure. My damaged car is paid in full but I think I could sell it damaged as is since it only needs minor cosmetic repairs. I'd like to use the insurance check as a down payment on a new car. Is that allowed, or do I have to use their check for repairs ONLY?

i would like to depart on christmas day from california, 1-3 days difference wont matter before the date, but the prices im seeing now are over half a grand!

i dont want anything like Orbitz or Priceline...those arent helping at all!

my brothers girlfriend recently told him she was pregnant (3wks ago) then she complaned about having a sore stomach(tues), went to the docs then they apparently sent her to hosp for a scan, there was no heart beat. she started bleeding on wed, but he has doubts she was ever pregnant, he never saw the pregnancy test, she never told anybody she was pregnant not even her mum, so when my brother ask to go with her for a final scan nxt wk she refused, said she wanted to do it herself, i foned her telling her to get it sorted or i would she agreed then yesterday she was passing clots docs sent her to hospital again and they sucked it out (her words not mine) but didnt fone my brother till after it was all done. so what i really want to know is, is she lying? does her story sound right, would the hospital not keep her in if she went throught that procedure about 5 ish last nite ( she called him about 8 pm) hes going mad not knowing?

The dude is a great writer, but, man, is he sadistic or what? If you look at Buffy, Angel, and Serenity (Firefly) in sum, he has killed a boatload of characters -- which I quite respect. It shows real gumption to be willing to remove notable characters from your story and know that, due to the strength and ongoing nature of the narrative (and life), new characters and opportunities will come along. However, having a wantonly destructive, depowered goddess eat her soul seems a bit excessive.

Thoughts? And hey, Josh, if you're out there, how about coming clean with it, bro?

I am not sure what to do about health insurance after I graduate from college (in a few months). I know that I am going to need some time to job hunt (my field is very competitive) and I would also like to do some volunteer work before I start my career. Problem is, if I am not a full-time student, my parents' health insurance won't cover me, and if I don't or can't find a job with benefits right away, I will be left uninsured. Any ideas where I can get affordable health insurance for short-term (no more than a year and a half) ??? Thanks!

We have two rheem heat pumps installed in 2002. A couple months ago, one of the compressors has to be replaced and we had a specialist replaced it for us. Last week, when we turned on the heat and set the temperature to 70. The heating system won't stop even through the room temperature had reached 75. We had the same person that replaced our compressor to check on the problem, and the solution he gave us was to change the thermostat. We purchased a new thermostat and had it replaced. The next day, our heat pump still won't stop running and we had the same technician check on it again. The solution was still the same, something wrong with the thermostat and we have to buy another one. Can someone tell us what could be causing this?
