The server was probably maxed out due to heavy download of IE7 at the moment...best to try again later

I have ADSL and my platform is Windows XP Pro. You must have a valid key for the platform that you have in your system. Microsoft will use the "WGA", tool to validate atleast three or four times while the program is downloading. (If you don't have a valid key then it will appear that you are still getting the download, but actually it was terminated).

The correct link is below. You must have SP2, an in order to download from Microsoft SP2, you must have a valid key.

If you do have a valid key, I tested all the beta versions of IE7 and the final IE7 is installed.

The removal of IE6 or the IE7 beta versions is very strange. The download process of the the final version from the link below will first remove all other versions or fragments that you may have left in your pc. Then Microsoft, will advise you to reboot while the wizard for installation is sitting on your monitor.

This part is really strange, because Microsoft will advise you that after you reboot your system, your monitor will be "blankl". All you are going to see is the wizard to install IE7. And again Microsoft will perform atleast three or four times the "WGA", tool to validate your key. If your key is good the installation will take place and upon completion, (I must say I was nervous, that I would never see my programs or icons on my monitor). They actually appeared and worked without problems.

Don't know what else to tell you. Althought the process is long, it should only be about 30 minutes or less. (Validating your platform seems to take up all the time).

Got mine from the page above. Save it to your desktop should only take a minute or so on broadband. Afterwards run it and install. Make sure you got the right prerequisits for it.

way to many problems with I.E 7 anyways, just stop download, if you can't do that, then reboot to get it to stop.

go here and see.
