I recently put an ad on craigslist Toronto selling a cd player. I only want to deal in cash and therefore will not ship it anywhere because I want to protect myself from scammers. (If someone wants to pay me in cash and then ship it themselves, so be it, I don't care.)

I received an offer from someone and they wanted me to find out the shipping cost to Nigeria and stated that they would pay using PayPal. This person was in Italy. I replied to them refusing the offer and explaining why. This morning, I received an e-mail from them saying that I'm a f***ing scammer and they hope I die soon.

1) How would this make me a scammer?
2) Why would someone get so upset over a used cd player?

The person in question would easily be able to purchase a brand-new cd player and ship it to their son in Nigeria at a much lower cost then purchasing and shipping from Canada.

Why be such a mean drama queen?

I remember years and years ago back in high school, during sex education classes, my teacher tested the strength on comdoms. He pulled it, stetched it, blew it up into a huge balloon, etc. It didn't break at all. All these people who claim their condom broke, what on earth were they doing?

My friend got a ticket on a red route in London. Basically his machine was broken and wouldn't print out and he tried to put it through as a spoilt ticket but he didn't seem entirely sure if it would go through or not - think he wanted to let her off but wasn't sure how to cancel that as he'd already put it through. If she contests it, on the premise that she did not receive a ticket is she able to be let off?

I took a picture last night of my daughter coming from a house, while trick or treating. In the photograph...where there was no lights...strobe or anything but a tree...a transparent figure w/a transparent head that showed that it was in motion -screaming -was behind her. This was done w/ a digital camera. On this entire block...all of the other pictures had a gold flecked line in them..random. On the next block...same lighting...no lines...clear photos.

I haven't had a boyfriend for almost 6 months, I broke up with my ex because he didn't appreciate me, and a few other minor details. I have seen stock trades in quantities of 100 or 200 shares on a stock trading at 4 or 5 cents. It doesn't make any sense? The person buying the shares is probably spending more on commission than on the stock?

I have a 4 yr old female cocker spainel. She is abs. sweet and loving but flipps out while being groomed. She has been to several places and there was one that she did "ok" with - recently she went crazy at this place and bit and snapped at the groomer and stopped breathing for a few seconds. Ever since this I have tried grooming her myself and its just not working. How can I get her to calm down to get groomed so she looks nice? Thanks

I was recently accepted into PhD programs in Health Education/Public Health at both Bloomington In and Carbondale IL. Carbondale is not as prestigious but does good research and the cost of living is lower. Bloomington also does a lot of great research and has some amazing facilities. But, it is more expensive to live there. I have yet to be offered financial assistant from either institution. But, will most likely be offered teaching assistantships from both.

I have to go to a concert on friday night and I got me and my boyfriend on the guestlist and I obviously want to look my best - It's a heavy metal show. I recently put on a lot of weight, and rather quickly. I am working on taking all the weight off, but I have to big problem area's, my chin and my tummy. I am not to worried about my tummy for the evening becaue it will be covered. I want to hide my double chin the best I can.
