I remember years and years ago back in high school, during sex education classes, my teacher tested the strength on comdoms. He pulled it, stetched it, blew it up into a huge balloon, etc. It didn't break at all. All these people who claim their condom broke, what on earth were they doing?

I think either:
a) The condom was ALREADY defected before being used
or
b) some people might purposely put holes in them

Condoms do break. Birth control does fail.

With friction there is more of a possibility. Some people have condoms fall off during sex without even knowing it and end up pregnant. I know from experience one size does NOT fit all! LOL!

A male condom will get 15/100 people pregnant. This means if a couple only uses a condom to prevent pregnancy and have sex 100 times there is a high probability that 15 of those times the woman will get pregnant.

I have never personally had a condom break but it does happen. Of course there are those weirdos that do make holes in condoms on purpose but it's a fact that they do break. Hope this helps!

It all depends on the condom. And the conditions. If a guy keeps his condoms in his wallet, the friction from it being in his back pocket can cause it to weaken, temperatures can affect it's durability, and some lubricants can mess with them too. Plus, condoms aren't custom made, so sometimes they just don't fit right and an odd position can put stress on them and make them break.

It depends on if it is put on right. If there is an air bubble in it than it can break pretty easily. Some brands may be cheaper than others also.

Your teacher may of stretched it and blew it up like a balloon but when you have air inside it and going back and forth in a tight space it could break. I am sure she did not demonstrate that in class.

i think that most condoms that break are the ones that have been kept in wallets and the like for too long and it has damaged the integrity of the latex. Other people just use it as an exscuse becaues saying we had unprotected sex is just too much like admitting a huge mistake.

Yes if the girl is too tight or not wet enough the condom will break. Also if the boy is not using the correct size condom.

I think it's a lie. That and that the birth control pill didn't work. I was on the birth control pill for 14 years and never got preggo. They are either lying or not taking it routinely.
