My daughter wears skirts that I think are too short. I bought her an 18" half slip. I told her she can wear any skirt she wants as long as she wears the slip under it. This keeps her from wearing too short a skirt or her slip will show. She did let it show a couple of times, Now she thinks it's cool to let a slip show. Is this ok?

Okay, here's the problem:
I'm homeschooled, after-school programs all have really high prices and none of them are free, the nearest activity center is a train ride and two bus rides away, the park that i live down the street from is full of drug addicts and rapists, and i'm getting bored to bloody death sitting in my house on the computer all day! I need some ideas on how to have fun inside that is kid-friendly (i have a little brother and sister around). You know, something that you might do with your kids or friends if you were bored. Thanks alot!

I know nothing about guitars. I need help selecting one for my 16 year old son. All i know is that he wants an electric one. So I would like to know about the diffrent kinds and what would be best for my son. I know he wants to learn to play Casting Crowns, Thousand Foot Krutch, Reliant K, and Queen songs If that helps any. I would also like help finding ways for him to learn how to play.

How much money would you consider a good deal for a gym membership?
How much is too much? I mean either monthly or annual cost (please specify). I'm asking for a gym membership from my parents for Christmas but they think it won't be worth it. Do you use your membership frequently?
What gym do you go to? Which one is the best in your opinion?
What are some things that you can do there that you couldn't just do at home (one of their arguments against it was that we have a treadmill and a few weights at our house already)?

Ok the title was very vague. Sorry.

My neighbour has a 7 year old (male - neutered) Maltse puppy. When ever I am out with my puppy (leash training) in my front yard, my neighbour lets his Maltese dog out of his property. The problem is; his dog relieves himself in my yard - number ones and twos! My puppy is not ready for her Parvo shot yet so I am worried that my puppy could catch parvo because of my neighbours dogs faeces.

Any advice on what to do?

A businessman met a beautiful hooker and agreed to spend the afternoon with her for $500.

They did their thing, and, before he left, he told her that he did not have any cash with him, but he would have his secretary write a check and mail it to her, calling the payment, "RENT FOR APARTMENT."

On the way to the office, he regretted what he had done, realizing that the whole event had not been worth the price.

So he had his secretary send a check for $250 and enclose the following typed note:

"Dear Madam: Enclosed find a check for $250 for rent of your apartment. I am not sending the amount agreed upon, because when I rented the place, I was under the impression that:
1 - It had never been occupied;
2 - There was plenty of heat;
3 - It was small enough to make me feel cozy and at home. However, I found out that it had been previously occupied, that there wasn't any heat, and that it was entirely too large."

Upon receipt of the note, the girl immediately returned the check for $250 with the following note:

"Dear Sir: First, I cannot understand how you could expect a beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied indefinitely. As for the heat, there is plenty of it, if you know how to turn it on. Regarding the space, the apartment is indeed of regular size, but if you don't have enough furniture to fill it, please do not blame the management. Please send the rent in full or we will be forced to contact your present landlady."

Ok so we had a dance last week. Some people told me that this guy was looking for me. So I went along looking for him! I eventually found him!
