I am about 80lbs heavier than I was when we first married 12 yrs ago. My wife has not changed at all and really is very gorgeous. I feel bad when we have our time together in the sense that I am able to touch her great body but she doesn't have the same of me. I know I should loose the weight but motivation is tough..any ideas.

I am interested in becoming a veg for spiritual purposes, but meat is a moderate staple and source of protien and fat. Any time I've tried cold-turkey (no pun intended) to stop eating meat, I've gotten very hungry and craved protein, even though I don't eat a whole lot of meat. Anyone have a suggestion?

earlier i ran into the mother of my friend who is an extremely intelligent, good-natured and sensitive girl but whose life is not working out. she suffers from severe depression and there may also be something else. I know where it comes from; the relationship with her mom. It makes me so depressed to know it may be too late. I've tried to help her but either her mom intervenes or she just doesn't have enough strength to pursue a path to a brighter future and she is already 26. I won't go into detail regarding everything about her life because it would be too long but it breaks my heart to know that somebody so beautiful could have a completely different life if they were brought up in a healthy family environment (she can't study, doesn't go out, she's always at home or at the doc's.

What are your thoughts on that & remember - you can't judge someone's life from your perspective and the kind of person you are. Some people just can't try as hard as you can.

okay i have this girl i was with and she said she just wanted to be friends until i'll relationship get better. My question is very simple. Is I.Q. something that can be improved over time through practicing the correct brain exercises such as figuring out cross word puzzles, reading, staying busy and etc or do you think that a person maybe more educated an knowledgeble about things but I.Q. is fixed and cannot be improved over time?????????
