If you are dedicated to her, and you both have passion for each other, it can work. I was in a very similar situation, but I already spoke fairly good spanish. It will work if you dedicate a little time to learn the language, and you will also find that you will learn from each other, and communication will get easier over time, as long as you don't get frustrated by the difficulty of it. It can actually fuel the fires a bit, because the difficulty actually makes it more interesting.

Why not. Ask her to talk to you in spanglish - like "baby can you pass the papitas / chips" (spanglish is a mixture of spanish and english words) Till you start learning all kinds of words, Then you can speak spanglish too. Till you learn to speak spanish. Dont give up, if you really like her. Just make sure you guys comunicate even if its hard. (all relatioships need comunication). Good Luck and God Bless you

It might. I'm American and I definitely want to find myself a Spanish-speaking woman. I think that children who grow up with a second language are so much smarter than the rest of their peers.

You can make the relationship work if you want it to. Taking courses to understand her better is a big step in the right direction!

depends on how hard you both are willing to work at it. if you don't find yourself getting too frustrated and bored trying to explain everything to her, then maybe. Might as well give it a shot, true love comes in the weirdest packages.

Yes, I think that it can work. If you care about each other then language shouldn't be a mega huge problem...You just have to be patient with each other and very willing to learn new things, it can actually be very fun you teaching her english and viceversa!

*Buena Suerte!!!!!!!*
