Gravel is being dumped from a conveyor belt at a rate of 10 cubic feet per minute. It forms a pile in the shape of a right circular cone, such that the ration of the base diameter to the height is always equal to 1. How fast is the height of thepile increasing when the pile is 17 feet high?

Can someone explain how to do this problem??

for the past week i have been really sick i havnt been able to keep anything down and i have passed out twice but i am helping my friend throw a party and i dont want to let him down by not showing up or being sick so i have kept it a secret. plus whenever i am either sick or hurt this friend kind of ignores me and i hate that so i dont want him to know im sick. i have just been REALLY careful about not sharing any drinks and keeping a distance but now another one of my friends found out how sick i was and doesnt want me to go to the party tomorrow

what should i do?

I've always been comforting being naked around others. When I was little, I didn't showering after PE or practice. My one friend and I spent the night at eachother's houses all the time and saw eachother naked tons of times and didn't care. Now I shower at the gym without a problem. We all have the same parts. How do/did you feel about it?

I've fought tooth and nail about my left-wing views. I'm sick of it! I want to stand tall for my liberatarian outlook! I want to stick bumper stickers on my car that market my politics with intelligence humor, but aren't vulgar or defensive, I want to read books that aren't whiney, I want to pay my taxes with a sense of both community and gain, and I want to feel free to drive by the panhandler.

Is it too much to ask that we require more from the wealthy to improve the improverished? We are one country, and we're looking really sad lately. I'm sick of false patriotism, false faith, false humanity.

Plant a freaking tree. If you have the means, plant 10. Donate when you're able, and if you aren't able, remember to do it when you are. Vote against tax hikes when you don't know where your taxes are going! Smile at kids on the street and strike up conversations with seniors. Listen to music you aren't used to. Feel free to wear polka dots with stripes.

Listen for change and vote.

A democrat's response: for money and oil.
Why did some random event happen?
A democrat's response: because someone made money off of it.


I'm getting sick of hearing these democrats talk about everything happening because of money. This is why Republicans get things done in office....it's because we look at all aspects of situations: not just the monetary gain aspect.

my little brother just made 14 yrs old. On his last report card he got 4 Fs and 2 Bs. this is his first year in highschool. my father has been asking for my lil bro to come live with him for a while now along with his 3 other sons, but my mother was not willing to give him up. Now, she is thinking about sending himto ATL because she does not feel there is much more she can do for My lil bro. My little brother and i are extremely close. i am his only sister and moms say we act like we are married. I am afraid that i will be lonely, but i do want what is best for Dino. (if this is even what is best for him) if i know my bro, i think he will be the same down there as he is up here. he is more of a friendly person who gets along with everybody anywhere he goes. he is a very popular person and I think that is what is distracting him because he is not at all stupid. he is just not focused enoughh. Like i said, him going to ATL will not solve much or nothing... *groans* what do you think?

this is most likely solved by a series, possibly a power series.
We are given unlimited number of identical, very thin dominoes. The length of a domino is 2 cm and it's mass is neglegable (10 ^ -4314 gram per domino).
Suppose we stack them(assume we are infinitely powerful), one on top of the other, so that the stack advances horizontally in one direction because each is offset a little. the top domino is offset 1cm, and as we move down the stack they are offset progressively less from each other so as to keep the center of gravity. the stack is kept stable only by gravity.
1) show that the stack can advance infinite distance. HINT: numerate the dominoes in a stack from the top. Note that a stack of two dominoes can advance 1cm since the center of the first domino should be above the edge of the second domino. Place the third domino underneath the first two dominoes so that the edge of the third domino is below the center of the stack of the two dominoes that has been built already.
