that was not kind of her and on behalf of other christians, may i apologize? i think its just that some of us feel very strongly about our beliefs. but we can't keep our mouths shut.
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation.
Sometimes, in our zeal, we show our ugly sinful nature and say stupid things. i try to accept people the way they are, i was an atheist at one point also. we are supposed to remember the fruits of the spirit
Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
sometimes we forget these things and I am sorry if you were offended.

1. They may have been just "ugly' and incidentally an "atheist." So it could have been a statement of fact.
2. Why don't you let God do the judging. After all, it took you to judge the judger.
The Psalms says God's judgments are always right and true. But at the same time his Son warned us not to judge in an ultimate sense. God makes it plain He expects us to make judgments. How else would become Christians or atheists?.Both make judgments. Even secular anthropolists suggest the mental act of judging, from something so unimportant as what dress to wear, to the greatest mystery, whether Creation has meaning, is uniquely human.

Sometimes, instead of teaching their own beliefs, they feel their time would be better spent bashing other people and/or religions. This is often effective with getting some people to hate another, but what is religion when you are forced upon it because you have nowhere else to turn? You should believe it for yourself, not for what other people tell you to believe.
Also, it's not Christians alone that do this. Anyone can be judgemental about anything. It's also not the churches, but some of the people belonging to those churches, who choose to be this way.

Most Christians don't read their own book, that states that only "God" has the final judgement. It also states that "As you judge, so shall you be judged". They think that they are the chosen ones and will be forgiven, no matter how many time they make the same stupid mistake. Most Christians are even judgemental about other christian sects, eg. Mormons, Catholics, Ball and most likely a few more.
They should find out who 'King James' really was. I know this will make them humble.

I am 19 and my parents made me go to church for about 15 yrs. of my life, and let me tell you from experience, Christians are people just like anybody else, and just like non-christians, they can be judgemental...Christians are taught that they should not judge and let God handle do the judging though...

GOD will deal with them. im hear to tell u that we are not all that way. you shall know a true beliver by their fruit. our job hear is to proclaim the good news . it is your job to recieve it. that simple. it is a choice and u will eat the fruit of it ( life or death)(spritual). the church of today needs an overhaul- and from a person who truly loves god hopes that u can accept my answer as being honest and truthful . and waiting faithfully for the overhaul.

I saw that too... I also saw that the same character you speak of, may also be an atheist... You did see that on this answer board, correct?......
Back to your question, ask yourself, why do Americans feel that other countries are beneath them?...... Now consider American's the Christians and the other countries other faiths and you will have your answer......

Because faith is such the antithesis of reason that some people cannot handle having their faith questioned, even if it's only by the mere existence of people who do not or may not believe. Also every single organized religion has a "manifest destiny" built into it that says, in effect, its viewpoint is the only one that is correct and that the followers should work to convert anyone they can and avoid anyone else they cannot. This is one of the reasons I am agnostic, I cannot handle such a limited world view.

that's not really Julia. There are people on this site that have hi-jacked her name. Her name doesn't have anything but "Julia" in it. That's someone who is spreading hate through her name. Kind of scary, isn't it? Someone must really hate the real Julia.
There's another person who's made a fool of in this way as well, "WhyNotAskDon" is parodied by someone else. YOu have to pay attention to the names. It is always slightly varied from the real one.
