I have a G3 Power Mac, ran fine one day did a restart and now a blank screen wont boot, or C boot no video output at all . video card has been replaced with 2 known working ones still same problem HELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!

We live in oklahoma, and our credit is absolutly shot from my husband getting out of the military. We had our cars repossessed, defaulted on everything, because my husband had a hard time finding a job. I'm looking at a RCA 52" Wide Screen rear projection HDTV RCA Television and was comparing it to another (twice as expensive JVC brand) television of the same size and type (but possibably not of like quality).

The RCA television has Vertical Scanning Lines (Native Mode) of 1080.

The JVC television has Vertical Scanning Lines (Native Mode) of 720.

What do the vertical scanning lines do for the picture quality? I would think the more lines the better the picture. If this is correct, the RCA, at half the cost, would be the better buy......am I thinking right?

Which of these two televisions are the best and why in your opinion?

RCA 52" Widescreen Rear-Projection HDTV R52WH77 and,
JVC 52" Rear-Projection HD-ILA HDTV with TV Stand HD527BP7

I messed up the month in my last question.

i was on the birth control patch and i stopped it in September and had my preiod. my period for October is only a few days late but i just feel funny. i have been eating a lot, have sore breast, almost falling alseep everyday at work and when me and my boyfriend have sex it feels different. Also i feel pressure and cramping in my stomach . could i have gotten pregnant that fast?

A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night
and have dinner with her parents. Since this is such a
big event, the girl announces to her boyfriend that
after dinner, she would like to go out and make love

Well, the boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex
before, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get
some condoms. He tells the pharmacist it's his first time and
the pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour.

At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many

The boy insists on the family pack because he

It seems to me that people use the idea that "everything happens for a reason" just to justify certain actions or "explain" certain events that have happened to them that they couldn't explain otherwise. And also, does this idea always have to have something to do with God and predestination or is there another "reason" that things happen?

What is it about this age where we feel the need to put together a house with no sweets? A house where are kids are literally on a diet from day one? Has no one heard the phrase “eat in moderation?” It seems like everyone is going through a phase where we are so obsessed with obesity that we are taking it to the extreme. Yes, I believe kids don’t need to be eating sweets 24/7 or drinking chocolate milk with every meal but people (and I’ve heard children saying it now) “don’t want their kids to get fat?” I just cannot believe all these people--what kind of an image do you think that sets for a child?

For the record, no I don’t give my kids candy every time we go out. No, I’m not overweight and neither are my children. I don’t ever remember watching what they eat--but I do make sure my husband and I eat in moderation and provide them with healthy snacks and food. I guess for me I just don’t stress every time I go to the grocery store just to make sure my kids “don’t get fat.”
