I messed up the month in my last question.
i was on the birth control patch and i stopped it in September and had my preiod. my period for October is only a few days late but i just feel funny. i have been eating a lot, have sore breast, almost falling alseep everyday at work and when me and my boyfriend have sex it feels different. Also i feel pressure and cramping in my stomach . could i have gotten pregnant that fast?

I'm on the patch as well, and I was under the impression that it took a little while to get your periods back to 'proper' periods, in that the first one you have after you come off the contraception is one where you still dont ovulate properly, so I'm not sure. It might be nothing, but I would suggest taking a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side, or going to see your doctor. Its better to be safe than sorry, and the sooner you know the sooner you can sort it out or stop worrying about it.

Your body may be adjusting to coming off of birth control. However, you can get pregnant the first month off the patch, and some of your symptoms are pretty classical signs of early pregnancy. You said you are already a few days late, so a test will be able to tell you what's going on. I hope you get the result you are looking for.

No one knows for sure how our bodies re act after coming off the pill...you could very well be pregnant although still early and feeling all those things might also just be in your mind cause you are worried. Try a home pregnancy test from your pharmacy if you don't want to go to your doctor. You can fall pregnant even when you having your period.... it does happened.
Of my 2 aunts one went off the pill and it took her 7 years to fall pregnant her sister fell pregnant on the pill and her next pregnancy she fell pregnant 2 months after coming off it...we all differ. So as i said to ease your mind.....do a test. If your not preggy, you might want to take other precautions for now if you're not planning on it

Those symptoms sound very much like my own when I was in the early stages of pregnancy - you need to go to your Dr. asap for a test and advice on what to do from here if you are pregnant. Yes indeed it only takes one time to fall pregnant, all you need is a egg lying in wait...

it only takes once. precum can even get you pregnant. my son is proof of that. it might just be that your period is playing games with you people who say that your period is predictable is wrong. i would go to a store by a cheap prenancy test and see what happens if your still not satisfied go to the doctors and ask them to do a test on you to make sure.

There isn't anyway to tell for sure. If you are really concerned get a couple of store tests and you could even speak with your doctor about it.

that's a simple hallucination friend. sometimes u feel so when u r very worried abt getting pregnant. do not worry . as you have stated that u have got your periods , u r not pregnant. dont worry . however , i would suggest you to cunslt a Doc. take care...GOD bless... bye.

Yeah! if your having sex you will get pregnant. You shouldn't be worried.. You choose to have sexual relations with your bf, right.. Good! Suck it up and have this baby! Welcome to the real world...
