What do people think of Torchwood? Most Sci-Fi fans will be familiar with the film Species; which the second episode rather ripped off. Was there too much sex in it though? Dr Who has manged to be exciting with barely any sex in it for years. It may affect the programme's chances of success in the conservative American marketplace too

2 Muslims I know said that People of the Book with sincere faith will go through a "fire of purification" and can go to Heaven. One also said there are different levels to Hell in Islam and that some people may not suffer in Hell but still be separated from God. Is this so?

Yea, this girl i like, we haven't talked to each other too much,but i have liked her long before we started talking,about a year and a bit. I told her i loved her, and she said "aw you let out your heart to me, thats so sweet" OR something along the lines of that, don't quite remember. But ever since i said that i have been very nice and romantic to her,and she told me it freaks her out to the end of the earth, and she doesn't see us being even friends in the near future. I know she isn't that hateful of me, i just want to know how to start again with her, i don't want to give up on her, i'd give everything, except to give up, i'd withstand all of hell to stick with her. But i need to know how to be friends, with a girl who you have freaked out badly. I love her and all i wish for is another chance with her. I couldn't say to her "why don't you come over to my place for dinner some time, i owe it to you, because of all the stuff I put you through" could i? Cos dinner is romantic act.

Once upon a time there was a Prince who, through no fault of his own was cast under a spell by an evil witch.
The curse was that the Prince could speak only one word each year. However, he could save up the words so that if he did not speak for a whole year, then the following year he was allowed to speak two words. (This was before the time of letter writing or sign language.)
One day he met a beautiful princess (ruby lips, golden hair, sapphire eyes,) and fell madly in love. With the greatest difficulty he decided to refrain from speaking for two whole years so that he could look at her and say "my darling".
But at the end of the two years he wished to tell her that he loved her.
Because of this he waited three more years without speaking
(bringing the total number of silent years to 5).
But at the end of these five years he realized that he had to ask her to marry him.
So he waited ANOTHER four years without speaking.

I recall that, clicking on the icon, start-up used to proceed. And I would prefer that. Now, which I don't like is, it asks me for te user name and password (my user name appears as a default and I keep the password blank and hit enter). How can I get back to icon version?
