a lot what do you want to know? it involves working with genes, mutating them, their templates, using PCR to make multiple copies of the DNA which in most cases is used in murder or homocide incidents. getting the temperature and all the settings just to achieve PCR whch can take you forever since the second stage if muy importante and if not everything goes according to Kerry Mulis and his patent of the PCR then you have to start all over again! you deal with growing and dealing with bacteria and viruses, working a lot of hands on work, making tons of slides which makes you get your hands messy as well as working with the microscope like crazy and jotting down any changes in any experiment you do! you deal with looking at cells under a microscope, taking a gene, cutting it and trying to mutate with something-another gene!it is hard work and hopefully i will get my dream come trur of doing this since it seems awesome-im an undergrad student by the way!
