If you need to feel really close to your spouse, an uncovered affair will most likely drive you crazy. On the other hand, if you're comfortable with distance in your relationship, an uncovered affair causes few problems at all.

Yes it did hurt the marriage. The guilty just ate at me causing me to push him away. It also, caused me to have sex less.

it won't work out....trust me on this. it happened to me. My ex didn't know i was with his childhood fren for so long. 5 years. and thing between me and my husband didn't work out. not that he found out, my conscience just can do thing the way i want it. i felt bad thru out the few years and all i have to my husband is just guilt and not love. we ended up going seperated way in the end. I don't want to hurt him more and its not fair to him.

my husband cheated on me and never told me about for over a year.First thing I did was go to teh OBGYN and got tested for everything.I am STD free and it has hurt our marriage.I am still with him,but I will never fully trust him ever again..Guilt can be very over powering.

it's hurt me when my wife tell me since 2 years ago. Till now she's asking divorced leaving my 2 sons. in future she'll knows....
