in 2nd law of dynamic(Newton's) we have: F=ma so if F=0 ---> then a=0 ---> V= cte
which is the 1st law, right? ( if F=0 then V = cte )
why did Newton separate these 2? doesn't the second law include the first one?

I just posted a question about how to deal with 'severe constipation' and received conflicting suggestions about bananas (some say avoid them, some say eat two a day!). I also had someone tell me to avoid yogurt, but I hear it's great for keeping everything running smoothly in the digestive tract. Anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Breaking up on 20th and being back at school for halloween & bonfire night?

Being back at school after xmas on 2nd!? The day after New Years and 4 DAYS BEFORE twelfth night?

I know one thing for sure, my kids won't be at school next week and they can go back on 8th Jan after xmas, don't the schools consider public holidays when choosing school holiday dates anymore?

I don't care if the school says they can break-up earlier instead, missing holidays or having to go to bed early on public holidays does is not made up for that easily.

Some people have recently been arguing for a general ban on the wearing of hijabs or burkas, on the grounds that they cover the wearer's face and this was unacceptable in western society.

(NOTE - I am talking about calls I have seen for a general ban here. Banning them from the classroom is a more specific issue, and I'm not talking about that here! I am also NOT talking about whether these items should be worn in a security-conscious location.)

Below are some examples of items of clothing that cover the face.

Do you think that any or all of these should be banned? If so, why? If you think one should be banned and not the others, why?
