I would simply enjoy being asked out. I feel that it kills the romance for me if I am always doing the asking. Does that make sense?

He is wanting to stay at home after work as much as your wanting out of the home after work, especially if your a house wife.Try setting a time and date aside that you both agree on.And show him the answers you have received on this.

Hi Jane. When I got married,my wife wanted to hold hands with me in the mall especially when people are watching her.I told her I am not interested.I show you love just the way I am,I don't have to please anybody else. And since we got married, she is more interested in peoving to people she could get married after all.She is 41 with four kids and I am 36.
Maybe you should love your husband just the way he is and not try selling him to the public.

Age has a lot to do with it. If he works hard, he probably wants to rest. The older you become, the more you want to stay at home.
If you ask him out and he agrees to go, be thankful. He still wants to please you even though he'd rather stay home.
On the other hand, if he goes out without you....be concerned.
Good luck

Because he is totally selfish and he doesn't trust you, make sure when you go out you don't invite him, tell him it's a girls night only, let him see how it feels, men are such babies.
