i know this sounds knida of wierd, but i WANT to get glasses. what are some things i could do to make my eyesight WORSE? i have pretty good eyesight. what could i do to make my eyesight bad enough to were i need glasses w/o going blind??

My daughter always wants to roll her pants up at the waist until the bottom is at her shin. She wants her shoes tied (or velcroed) so tight that they leave marks all over her feet when she takes them off. She never complains that they hurt, but I know it cant be good for shoes to be that tight. Sometimes she wants the velcro so damn tight that there isn't any left to stick to itself (if you know what i'm trying to say).

Anyway, she'll throw the BIGGEST tantrum until her clothes are the way she likes them. How do I change this? Timeouts aren't helpful so please dont suggest them. I cant stick her in a time out when we're ready to leave for school/work in the morning. If I give her a little smack on the bottom, it just makes her throw a bigger fit. I am at my wits end. But she cant be wearing flood like pants in chicago in the winter, and cant have her shoes so darn tight that it's probably cutting off her circulation! Help!

There is this girl who.. everytime I didn't go out with my boyfriend she was always talkin to him, shootin pool, and wanting to hang around him, but when I do go out, she stays away from him. I told her that she can talk to him when i'm there also, and I asked her straight out if she liked him because it was just weird on how she was acting,, she said no that she didn't like him and they were just friends,, well in the back of my mind I knew she must have been lying, so I told her that I would let it go. 2 weeks later when of course i'm not at the bar with my boyfriend she runs up to him telling him that I was asking her if there was anything goin on between them,, she twisted everything I said and made my bf mad at me. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and it sounds like to me she is tryin to come in between us. I trust my boyfriend, i'm 24 years old, and he's 27,, this girl is 22 and likes to cause drama. He says I don't have a right to be mad and that I should just drop it.

i have been visiting united states of america way back from 1982, in 2002 i was usa and married usa citizen, marriage did not work for many reasons,myself returned back to india in 2003 and divorce was filled in usa and granted.
while in usa i was issued social security card/employment card/parole till march 2003.
myself visited usa embassy in my country for non immigrant visa/ tobe in usa with my sister who is usa citizen since 1990/and undergoing major medical operation.

my visa was rejected

WHAT OTHER PROCEDURE SHOULD I FOLLOW TOBE ABLE TOGET THE VISA?

for a woman or are women only supposed to wear skirts to look professional? the reason i ask is because i do Mary Kay and my director sent an email out to everyone saying "please wear professional attire, no slacks please" before this i didnt think there was anything wrong with a woman wearing pants as long as they looked nice, so i was just wondering if i was alone on thinking this.

I feel like my son is trying to give me a heart attack. not that ive ever had one but he really raises my blood pressure. Since he was 13 he decided he wasn't going to attend school. My (child) out wieghs me and towers over me. I signed him up at high school and he still would not go. I do not have the help or support of the dad as the courts took away his parental rights in 2000 for being unfit and abuse issues.
My son now at 16 has a (phone) relationship with him. I beleive The dad uses this to turn my son against me. My son doesnt talk much to me anymore and when he does its really rude, and I'm very embarassed to admit this to anyone but he is always telling me to shut (tf) up. Go to my room...or calls me an idiot. I feel so disrespected and it really hurts.
I put him in home school to keep him in a school, any school.. but recently he wasnt applying himself at all and they wanted him out of that school. So now i'm at a loss.
He sneaks out of the house in early morning hours. I tried to talk to him about this and he told me I'm being an idiot and acting irrational when I told him I do not want him going out in the middle of the night. He said he will do it anyways and that all kids do.
I'm so embarrassed to be writing this but i'm at my wits ends. This child is running my house and my life. If things dissapear, he does not admit to taking those things. (he an I are the only ones here and I know I didnt take them) If I try to just be happy and sing through the house. He tells me to stfu, go to my room and his latest thing is to call me a f#gg@t.
I dont use drugs. I am tryng to maintain a respectful persona in the community. I work in a pharmacy. I am called (sweet), too sweet by my peers. I feel like this is the hardest time in my life and the biggest challenge and I feel like a failure.
And I desperately need to tak to someone. Please feel free to respond. Theres so much more going on here but I feel like I would be writing a book. His dad was/is an abusive man that I was advised by the police after a beating, to get far away from him. I did.
He took the kids from me and kept them hidden until the County Gave them back to me.
Both children refused counceling. The oldest is married now and my son is the hardest.
I told him I want to help him and that I love him. but he tells me to get away from him and dont touch him not even a kiss on the cheak or a hug. The house feels like a tomb. and now I find myself in my room alot and very depressed.

I think my dog would be a great therapy dog. She's friendly, outgoing, loves other dogs and loves to be around people. She's a gentle, sweet girl. She's a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel mix that we got from the Humane Society. All we know is her age and that she's from Mississippi. She now lives in Florida.
Anyway....Can anyone give me advice on how to get the ball rolling? Who to call, where to go, etc. I know that she'll have to go through evaluations and some more training and we're ready for that.
