being a conservative Christian is like an outright contradiction. Bill O Reilly said it best. Conservatives like the country the way it is and dont want radical change (unless its something like abolishing porn). But liberals want radical social change. Guess who else wanted radical social change? Jesus!

"Common knowledge" has been proven wrong many times in the past - for example, we don't try to cure diseases by blood letting any more. It takes carefully designed experiments to determine the truth of these things.

Note that there are zillions of viruses in a cough, and it doesn't take too many to cause a disease. Obviously, covering your mouth while coughing only stops a fraction of these viruses from becoming airborne.

Does anyone know of a study considering the efficacy of covering your mouth to prevent coughs from becoming a disease transmission vector?

i dont know if this matters but as background info. im an 18yr old girl,college student,living on campus,no job.

As a rather crude example, I've always wondered why some people - particularly men - find it so difficult to spot fake breasts when the see them. This is by no mean me bragging, but I'm 99.9% sure that if 100 topless women were to be lined up in front of me, with only 3 of them having natural breasts, I would be able to pick out those three by sight alone and without the aid of clues such as touching or asking the women to jump up and down.
But I still find myself in situations where I'll be watching TV with friends and a woman with breats like footballs appears, and someone will say, "Look at the size of them. Do you think they're real?" Why can't they see that they're not when it's so obvious?

Another example is American wrestling. I hate it because of it's phoneyness and pretence. I'm not denying the althetism and skill of these guys, but it's pantomine and nothing else. And yet you get guys who are convince it's real, and who get very upset if you claim otherwise.

I have a 1994 ford f-150 that when you drive for about 20-25 minutes the lifters sound like they are knocking then the truck stalls. I have changed the ingnition module and the cap rotor ,spark plugs, fuel filter with out a change any help will be appreciated.
