Of course. This is a no-brainer. You are legally married. Why in the world don't you file for divorce?

No I do not think it is adultery because you and your husband are already through and leading very separate lives. But you should get divorced, because anything that he does can still go back to you. For instance if he gets out loans, credit cards, etc. and does not pay for them. Plus I am sure that you do not want to stay married to a man like that!! You should file for divorce right away. If you don't have enough money, you can do it yourself for about $450 or call a lawyer and see what price they quote you. If you look on the Internet though they have do-it-yourself kits and the courts will help you with filing the papers. Good luck and definitely get divorced and get it over with.

Move on dear, he did and for another man! Go ahead and find your true soulmate! No sense in being lonely , personally I would not take him back after him being with another man. As far as the adultry thing, he did it first. Just get a divorce and make sure if you meet someone you tell them that you are seperated going through a divorce.

Adultry is an act performed during a legal marriage (regardless if there is a legal separation in existence). You need a divorce if you are concerned with him countersuing you for adultry.

Sorry to read about this, very sad indeed. I would say no there is nothing wrong with you seeing someone else. However if you decide to marry again you may be having difficulty some states prevent being married twice @ the same time. try to get a restraining order unless children are involved in the picture.

Possibly you would share the guilt in a divorce..
File for separation / divorce before you commit adultry...

I would say no. but you need to get a legal seperation. you could probably have a speedy divorce considering his current lifestyle. I would just go ahead and see other people it's not like he's not doing the same thing.

I'm sorry you're going through this but sadly, yes, he could get you for adultery if you see someone else before the divorce is final.

Adultery is a hard thing to prove, and RARELY shows up on police blotters these days.
MOST judges will refuse the charge to be entered because it's time consuming to prove it,and costs too much $$$ to investigate it.
Hope I helped(-:

It sounds like in spirit you are already divorced. It would be legalistic of you not to allow yourself to see others. He is the one that left and seems to be at an irreconcilable point.
