this is a question for people in there 40's or older does anyone remember a store in chicago,il called metro golden memories do you know if there still around? they were located on the north side the last time i saw it back in the late 90's thank you

I usually like to have a little late night snack. Sometimes, I have to go to the store to get it. But, once n a while my kids will wake up before I leave and want to come. I don't like to take them out at night because I'm afraid they'll get sick. My oldest is 6 years and gets ear infections really easy. They start really freaking out and crying wanting to go with me. My oldest says that she is afraid to be alone. I'm a single mom. What can I do to help her not be afraid so that I can go to the store? I'm at a loss!!!

I come from a life of privilege. I've always had everything provided for me, and I could live comfortably for the rest of my life in the United States without every having to worry about money. But I feel so guilty. It doesn't seem fair. I was born into this. Why do I deserve this? What can I do to assuage my guilt? I feel a great desire to live a life of asceticism, to give all my money away to the poor, and to live as a wandering mystic, traveling the world in search of truth and goodness. Am I crazy?

I got a 16g industrial a couple weeks ago and now I want to have it at the standard 14g. I've heard horror stories about cartilage collapsing so I'm hesitant to try and increase my gauge without some sort of info. Should I just try to slide the 14g barbell through with some lubricant or should I use a taper or what?

I really can't. I despise it. I know it's arrogant, or whatever word you prefer, but I don't think I write beyond what a reasonably educated person can understand. I can barely abide speaking more simpistically to children. I just expect people to be able to comprehend what I am saying.

I know it's counterproductive to good communication, but it's just how I am.

My brother-in-law has two pitbulls, well today they attacked my great-Uncle's small dog.I suggested they should have the two dogs put down, because this is not the first time they attacked another animal.I worry because my nephew is in this household, and I think these dogs have the bloodlust now!Last week they went after my child! Do you think I should call,so something will be done about these aggressive dogs? I tired of talking to my brother-in-law, but he says the dogs are not that way! And he got really mad at me!
