Should the gov't put a tax on fast food, and high fat foods? They have already eliminated most schools from having soda and fried foods in lunches. What do you think about this?

It is true that fat people are ruining their own health and costing the health industry (you and me) untold amounts to care for overweight people.

But I would hate to see the government get into the picture. It would be a mess.

Overweight people should have enough respect for themselves, to do something about their own health problem. And quit blaming it on a heredity/genetic excuse.

they already have a pretty high tax on these items. in all reality if they are trying to stop people from smoking, taking drugs or even buying them from outside the country. then they should obviously take down an industry like junk food etc-which is obviously trying to kill the people it feeds.

they will say that everything in moderation is the key

but temptation doesn't come in moderation these days. so how can you really blame the individual
