3% is pretty high, generally the rate of pregnancy after vasectomy is 1%. he should be aware there is some failure rate. either way, someone has to be the 1%or 3% and if you have been faithful you have nothing to worry about. get the baby tested after it is born and lay the question to rest. i can understand why he would think it wasn't his and he would be justified in asking for a dna test. wouldnt you doubt it if you were supposedly sterilized? you know the truth and so will he once the baby is born

I don't blame him for doubting - after all, undergoing a vasectomy is a pretty major decision, since it is often not reversible. Now you tell him you're pregnant. Are you 100% certain? If so, and he was the only person you had sex with, then it's his. However, you can't blame him for doubting - it's just SO unlikely. So you'll just have to suck it up and get the blood test done to prove it to him. I'm sure once he KNOWS it's his child, his attitude will change. His getting a vasectomy means he was absolutely sure he didn't want kids. Keep that in mind.

I can understand the confusion, but let your hubby know three percent chance of having a baby is more risky then some types of birth control and people get pregnant on that all the time. If he really doesnt believe it then get a paternity test.

wow sorry to hear this. The only way of dealing with this is to have a dna test done once the baby is born. However i suggest that you deal with it in your own mind now, don't let it eat at you. Maybe go for some therapy or something. Good luck

Obviously it is easy to understand his concern. But you need to explain to him that 3% is actually pretty high. That is saying more guys are able to get a women pregnant then women being able to get pregnant on birth control and we all know that happens. If you cant convince him then you will have to get a DNA test done. Hopefully you wont have to do that but if you have to the option is there. I hope this helps and good luck with boyfriend and baby!

He obviously doesn't trust you and believes you've been unfaithful. That's not good in a relationship, and that's wrong on his behalf, unless you have been unfaithful before. But if you know that you're not fornicating with any other man, then just get a paternity test. He'll feel convicted once he sees he was wrong.

the concern is the time between now and birth. both of you are convinced of your position and believe in a different result. both of you have good reason to support your belief. now,the question is-what do each of you want out of your relationship? if you want to salvage anything from the relationship, both of you need to proceed with care. if its just a matter of whos the daddy, its a matter of waiting for dna.

Well have you done anything to make hin not trust you. If not then I would get a DNA test and when it proves he is the father dump his *** for ever doubting you and go after him for child support.
It also depends on when he had his vasectomy. They are not effective right a way. So if you guys had sex shortly after his Vasectomy you could still get pregnant.
