Its not ok to act on this feeling inappropriately. But i suggest you find a better way to explore this because many ways of exploring this result in cutting and disfigurement. But I also weirdly like pain (I believe that as one inflicts pain on themselves the blood rushes to the area of pain and the brain releases endorphins to compensate for any ill effects) and its never bothered me when i would get hurt or whatever. So i'm sure its possible your brain releases more endorphins than other peoples and you actually feel good despite inflicting injury to yourself. In this way it is natural. But that does not mean we should always go and do things simply because we feel like it.

The way i deal with it is by exercising until my body is in pain and also martial arts. Both these things give me some satisfaction. But i would seriously not consider going further than this becasue this is the only body i have if i start wrecking it i cant always get it back the way it was. By all means feel as you will, but do not take this so far as self mutilation etc. Perhaps find something which gives you even more pleasure like i did.

Self-mutilation is so popular these days. Truth is most people cut because they have unresolved emotional issues. Some people resolve them and then feel bad because their bodies are all covered in scars. Other people just get worse. Try to find a positive outlet. Try to figure out what is eating you up. Don't let something that someone else is doing ruin your life. They don't have that right. And YES, I have done things to feel. Listen to the song Hurt, I prefer the version by Johnny Cash.

I'll let you know Ive been cutting since the 4th grade due to family problems that affected me badly and no its not okay to do self harm yes it may make something seem better when you do it but then the problem comes back and you cut or pick or burn or whatever your method is and you do it every time the problem comes back and it might make you feel better but it wont end after a while your method wont be enough to calm you down and you'll turn to something "worse" and it never gets better unless you treat the problem you should try drawing, reading, swimming, walking, riding a bike, singing, talk on the phone, writing, talking, listening to music, watching the stars, anything to get your mind off the problem that makes you want to do self harm and talk to someone about what makes you want to harm yourself and get in after feeling comfortable talking to someone about it you should get in a local support group

hi. You ask if this is inevitable or no longer. properly assisted suicide, this is practised already in the NHS in the united kingdom. (medical doctors provide human beings Morphine who're terminally ill). they in basic terms ask the affected man or woman in the journey that they prefer the dose more advantageous larger and better - ultimately their body is unable to counter the impression of the drug (in a number of of situations organ failure) as they are so weak besides, that they in basic terms die. yet in a unique way of doing it, is to provide the affected man or woman a morphine pump, with this the affected man or woman can 'administration' their personal discomfort stages with a touch push of a button. definite, the 'stages' are meant to be non-deadly, notwithstanding it relies upon how ill the affected man or woman is. The healthcare professional will continually comprehend the area results of the drug, and search for suggestion from this with the affected man or woman, kinfolk, or nurse. frequently (back in the terminally ill) the affected man or woman effectively kills themselves by technique of overdosing on morphine. on the lack of life certificate it in basic terms says 'organic motives', no longer that the affected man or woman had x10 the secure reduce of morphine. It occurs each and every of the time, popular - yet because the topic is taboo we do not communicate about it. Peace.

this may be enjoyable-life will bring enough pain without maiming yourself-a moth loves going into a flame-but it has consequences-Jesus says to love yourself-purposefully hurting yourself is against Jesus-in his amazing grace

It's a poor coping skill, usually seen in individuals who have been abused in childhood. Therapists can help, if you want help. Medicine can help, too. You have to want to stop the self-mutilation. That's the only way it works. Good luck.

Please tell me your kidding. Are you seriously asking this as if you don't know the answer?

I have a very opened mind to many many things. Self inflicted pain is a cry out for attention. Plain and simple. It looks foolish. I can't stand when people do it, or ask about it.

Needing attention isn't a bad thing, it just looks so obvious, and stupid.
