Why don't middle and lower class have a problem with african hair styles? Why don't our men enjoy the beauty of african hair? We are born with it why can't we keep it healthy and clean and be accepted? Why can't I find a job with my afro and braids? Why do some Black Educators phohibit african hair styles while training?

Well, this goes with my first question. I was just want to know if someone can do that or is insane enough to do it. Because, i dont want a baby that may not be his ( there still no proof she had a baby, but im worried) to be in his family tree............and her to say she had something special with him.............so has anyone ever had this happen to them and what would you do to protect your last name and family tree?

I am a nanny for 2 children. One is in school most the day, he gets home at 3:00 and I am there until 5:30. I start at 7:30, the other child is home full time. Not only do I watch their child, I do all basic needs for the child (bathe them, cook for them) but I also care for their house, do their laundry, and cook dinner for them. I also sometimes grocery shop and what not. I also help with the older childs homework and drive him to and from soccer. I used to get paid 400 a week, but they siad they were having money problems and cut me to 350 a week. The thing is they both have good jobs, one works for the Big 3 in a high position,the other owns a flooring company andthey dont cut back anyplace else. like they eat out for lunch everyday, even outside of work lunches. They have talked about packing a lunch but never do. In the summer they go camping every weekend. It seems they could cut back else where. Should I ask for a raise or is my pay good? Other nannys get 10/hr in the area

Well this is something that has always made me wonder and ask. Is american made anime as good as japanese anime. Now before I get a rant from someone about american can't make anime. According to websters dictionary anime is described as any cartoon which displays scene's in a fantasy, sci-fi, or other wise non realistic view.

Now that we have that out of our system, what american made anime would you say actually competes with anime. Thus far the only one I have seen that does come close is Avatar: The Last airbender.

we were together all loved up..... he spoke to me all the time on the phone... used to say he cant sleep unless he hears my voice.... i would throw small tantrums he would say he loves them in arguments he likes to talk things threw... one week he got really busy with work - not much time for me i would txt he not respond he said he'd make it up to me i said ok... but when we spoke i told him i felt upset - got carried away n said i don’t want him- quickly said didn’t mean it - just upset. he said no its over! we haven’t spoken i txt n called him two weeks ago no response... what happened?

How is Michael Irvin kept out of the HOF? I know its b/c of his off the field actions, but is that right? I say hell no, its not the Hall of Character its the Hall of Fame, its about what he did inside the white lines and what he did was dominate DB's and defenses in general. He was a great leader and a very important part in the trio of Irvin, Emmitt, and Aikman. He is deserving of the HOF...

Also, Skip Bayless says TO is not gonna even be considered for the HOF. How the eff does he figure that? There is not a single WR in the history of the NFL who had over 100 TD's not made it into the HOF. His statline as of date....

738 rec., 10812 yds, 105 TD's....he's only in his 11th season and he'll be 34 in Dec. That still gives him at least 2-3 more seasons after this one. He has over 1000 yds receiving in 6 of his 11 seasons (should be 7, suspended last year) and he's started at least 14 games in ALL of his seasons (exception last year he was suspended). He cant be left out

That all sins are forgiven through believing in Jesus Christ, that he died on the cross- for our sins, then rose again 3 days later...and that you will be saved when you confess your sins to him- and follow him? That the Bible is the Word of God and that every scripture is God breathed ( 2 Timothy ) Did you also know that the ONLY sin that will NOT be forgiven- is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? That means- those that reject Christ, and continue to live in sin against God.... Matthew 12:32
"And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
--This means that men can be forgiven when they put their Trust IN Christ, when asking for forgiveness they will be redeemed.- but those who reject him in this life will NOT be forgiven. It will be too late after they die- for everyone will be stand before God and have to give an account to Him.

Has anyone had experiences with rescue cats that have behavioral problems? I'm looking to adopt a 2 year old female from a rescue center I volunteer at. Beautiful and confident looking girl, you walk up to her pod and she's all purrs and looks like she's wanting attention, you go to stroke her and she will hiss and lash out. She loves playing and chasing things but half way through a game she seems to panic and run and hide. Its like she's let her guard down and allowed herself to have fun and then this panics her. We don’t know her past perhaps she was treated badly. Has anyone had any experiences like this? Has your cat been able to overcome them?
