I have been currently job searching for 5 months. I am not having that much success..even though I have tried to prepare for all my interviews thoroughly. Basically, I am trying to re-enter the market research/analytics field I was once in before but now I am in a different field and its difficult to go back into it. Is it true that if you've broken a bone you can't go to space?

A friend of mine recently said something to the effect of, "Well I've never broken a bone, so I can go to space."

When I asked him what he meant he said that if you've boken a bone you can't become an astronaut.

Not that becoming an astronaut is in my immediate future, but this bit of news was troubling to me. Is there any truth to this?

The Employee Handbook says,
VACATIONS: Regular full time employees who have been with the company for less than 8 years but more than one year, are entitled to 2 weeks paid vacation.

I NEED TO KNOW WHEN THE VACATION TIME IS ACTUALLY EARNED ACCORDING TO THE HANDBOOK, #1 or #2?

#1 You start earning your vacation in the 2nd year of employment. The 1st year is not counted. You will have earned 2 weeks paid vacation by the end of the 2nd year.
OR
#2 You start earning your vacation in the 1st year of employment. You have earned 2 weeks paid vacation and are entitled to take it after 1 year has been completed.

When it comes to beauty i am an idiot...I always have to have make up...I use bare minerals foundation and then the same color eyeshadow (a yellowish/gray color,hard to explain) it is very nuetral but noticiable, black eyeliner, and black mascara...I don't really know how to change looks of make up---i love it but i just cant do it!

with hair, i have medium length hair (little past my sholders), long layers...and every day i just blow dry and straighten it...I don't think I have much body in my hair, its just there...can someone help for a sexy change!!!

I was going 29 in a 15mph school zone this morning. Will I automatically have to pay double the fines because it was in a school zone? Is there any way to get fines reduced?

I want to thank all the people who answered my question. Some very interesting ideas were brought forward. I very much appreciated reading them. And regarding the whole science issue that can be encapsulated by this quote,

"You're mistaken about what evolution entails-it's about biology not cosmology."

I brought this up in reference to god and the origins of the universe as they pertain to evolution simply because that was the primary point of discussion between Colbert and Dawkins. I know it's mixing apples and oranges but it is fascinating nonetheless.

So again. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who replied! There are some very interesting minds here and I appreciated you sharing your thoughts with me.

I could go on and on about how cheerleading IS a sport. I could argue with anyone.. and most likely win lol. But, I would like to hear other people's opinon's. My rabbit is indoors in a 2 story cage. I've read that it isn't good for their feet to be on the wire all the time. So, I tried putting a piece of the sticky linoleum on the top for him. He chewed it up. Tried putting a towel in, he drags it down by his litter box, and it ends up covered in poop. I'm not going to bother with a piece of carpet remnant, figure that would be pointless. I've seen at the pet store they make something for that purpose, anyone know if it works? Think he'll chew it up? Any other suggestions?
