Creation v. Evolution - Thank You!?

Question

I want to thank all the people who answered my question. Some very interesting ideas were brought forward. I very much appreciated reading them. And regarding the whole science issue that can be encapsulated by this quote,

"You're mistaken about what evolution entails-it's about biology not cosmology."

I brought this up in reference to god and the origins of the universe as they pertain to evolution simply because that was the primary point of discussion between Colbert and Dawkins. I know it's mixing apples and oranges but it is fascinating nonetheless.

So again. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who replied! There are some very interesting minds here and I appreciated you sharing your thoughts with me.

Von - if that day should come, where will you be? As a professed Christian, I'm not sure how Jesus would feel about you being so adversarial towards me.

Yes Von; god created the universe and all of us here on Earth. Oh wait, but then he decided to wipe out 99.9% of all species that ever existed here. Plus he continues to fire asteroids and meteors towards our fine planet. If it weren't for Jupiter's emense gravity we'd all be well dead by now. Oh but he's a good god isn't he? You creationists really should read up on the scientific fact before you go making a fool of yourselves.
