Yeshua means "Salvation" in Hebrew. It does not mean "God is Salvation" or variations as some have written. In order for it to mean this, you would expect to see the Hebrew word "El" or "el" in the name somewhere. For example, "Israel" means "God prevails."

It simply means Salvation and I think that's enough!

Peace.

We derive our English name Jesus from the Latin derivative - which derives it from the Hebrew, Yeshua, which means Salvation. The name Jesus, the Son of God, is significant and specific to Yehova's Salvation.
