Let's be realistic for a moment. In the entire history on the NBA only 2 people have ever scored 81 points or more. Kobe did it last year and Wilt Chamberlain did it 30 years ago and it will probably be another 30 years before it happens again.

Not even come close becasue he has teammates that he actually shares the ball with. I dont think you'll see an 81 pt game this year. Also when Kobe scored that many he had no one on his team that could keep up also he was playing the worst team in the league at the time.

Yes because he can shoot the ball lights out. He can score 11 points in 20 seconds. What's the limit for this great basketball player? Especially if he plays the raptors like kobe did.

t mac will NOT score 81 points. t mac is not a "hunt" aka ball hog like kobe. but kobe has to be because he has a horrible supporting cast. t mac has yao, bonzi, skip (rafer alston), a descent roster of players who can score. on the other hand, kobe is the only all star in his team. lakers don't have real legitimate scorers.

He can, but he would not!

Jeff van Gundy would not allow such play and theres yaoming in Rocket, Yao ming , alston , wells .......not like the Lakers, all piece of sht player except for Odom, but he is playing a point forward position, so he has to distirbute the ball more often.

Nah, his team has more players capable of scoring which makes the possibility very slim.

no he has too many good players.......wit the rockets pickin up bonzi wells who is known by gettin points in the paint, and Yao gettin rebounds and puttin them in the hoop it jus doesnt seem logical for him to score 81
