I had the exact same thing happen to me - I found the hair that I believed to be cat hair. I didn't say anything nor did I eat anything she ever brought in again. But, don't go around telling everybody - let them find it themselves.

I change shirts when I cook so no hair gets in anything. I did find a piece of my own hair in food once. I weren't tell her just throw it away without her looking.

I think it would be rude and hurtful to say something to the lady. I'm sure this was meant to be a good gesture, not an invitation to be humiliated! If it bothers you, then don't eat anymore. This can happen to anybody.

Pet hair of head hair? What is this?
No don't tell them or you'll not get any treats from them in the future.

Hey, it happens with pets even when you are trying to be clean. Keep your lips sealed, you would hurt her feelings. I would be worried about the things in foods (not home-made) that we can't see! :-)
