I thought about trying it just this ONE time and I will never touch the stuff again, never drank or smoked in my life. I'm 16 and I'm kinda lost. They are my best friends so I can trust them with the kind they get. The question is, will doing it one time have any effect on me permanently? Will it damage my brain, lungs or anything? It's just once so I was wondering. Will my grades drop? Thanks guys, I need an honest answer.

Ok, so I go to a Big Ten, very well known university. It's one of the best in the nation. The thing is, I absolutely hate this college. Not because of the workload or anything, I just hate it. All the students are rich snobs, the professors are stuck up and it's costing me a lot of money. I want to transfer to a private college in my home town because it's a small university and I won't feel like a number. I also want to major in social work but my current college doesn't offer that major. If I transfer to the private, not well known college my tuition would be covered. Should I transfer from a prestigious college to a private small college? I'm afraid I'll regret it if I do it, but I hate it here and I really want to major in social work. I'm not sure what to do.

My last period was august 16th I did not have one in september, I took 3 perganancy test and a blood test all negative, between that time i did use partial condom protection but on sept 30th and oct 1st i had unprotected sex the following week i had light spotting for 3 days it is now oct 17th and i still have not gotten my period, I have not done another HPT, and I do have an appt with the obgyn. I just want to know could i be pg has this happend to any one else? We are not trying hard to concive but we would be happy if I did.

She hasn't been sleeping! For 3 nights now she wakes up about every 2 hours and screams like she i in pain. She won't nurse or let me hold her. After about 10 to 20 minutes of straight crying she falls back asleep. I gave her some tylenol just now so I can hopefully get some sleep tonight. What should I do if she cries all night again tonight?

I'm a lesbian and I've been dating my girlfriend a long time and I love her very much. Our relationship is pretty great (except that she's away in the army right now). The only problem is, her WHOLE family (parents, siblings, aunts, uncles... etc.) is really religious. Her parents found out about one of her and her exes once, and they punished her and sent her to therapy and all kinds of nasty stuff until she said she was "cured". Neither of our families know about our relationship (with the exception of my little, very accepting sister), but I feel I'm ready to come out to my family. My girlfriend tries to tell me not to for fear of my parents telling her parents and being disowned. I asked her once how she'd rather come out: them finding out, or her telling them, and she said neither. I don't want to force her to come out, but I'm afraid we'll never get to live the life we both want if she doesn't tell them. And soon. What should I do, if anything?

Well ive had 2 miscarriages and the doctor told me i couldnt get pregnant so me and my boyfriend just didnt use condoms well just recently ive been moody, crying for no reason, dramatic, tired, hungry, ive gained weight..and im not sure if i should tell him because he was devestated when i miscarried. i dont want to tell him and then miscarry again... what should i do? tell him or not?
