I dream too much during sleep. My dreams are vivid, colourful, intense. I almost never have nightmares. Some are slightly prophetic. All trouble me in my waking life. I read somewhere that intense dreams may be the symptoms of a neurosis or hysteria. (Freud, Jung) The only thing I know is that they originate from my extremely active imagination - plus, I read, write and think very much during the day. Please help me ease my mind, I am afraid that such dream activity may be abnormal.

Alright, so I'm in class alone with a teacher and this guy comes into the room. This guy and I used to be the best of friends but he completely screwed me over for friendship with a girl who he thought was prettier and since she didn't like me, he stopped talking to me. I've made my peace with that - he's a jerk, etc.
Anyway, both me and him, we're very good in this teacher's class but even though I've always thought that he had a lot of respect for both of us, this teacher and he seem to have a closer relationship than the teacher and I have. So it's only us three in the room and I'm working in the corner. Oh, and something else I've got to say is that I'm overweight.
They talk of this and that for a while and start talking about the name Bertha. Then the teacher says, "Bertha, that's a fat woman's name." My heart stopped, literally. Then the guy said "Yeah, fat people disgust me too."
Then the teacher lowered his voice to continue the conversation.

So I've been talking to this girl for probably a month (she's a friend of some people I know) and we seem to get along together just great. What would be something we could do for the first time meeting eachother? Something not too boring, but not too date-like either. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks,

My girlfriend has asked me not to come home before 4pm today as she has a man coming round to perform some essential maintainance work. She thinks it best that I'm not there in case things get messy and I get dirt on my clothes.
Does anybody else have such a considerate girlfriend or am I the luckiest man in the world?

It's when someone wants to SAVE everybody.
Religous nut, therapist, treehugger. It don't matter.
The problem is.
If you won't let them save you.
They want to STICK IT to you!

I was having drinks with a man and one of his co-workers came into the lounge. She asked him a question about something they are working on. After about a minute he says to her 'Rebecca, this is Pamela (and used my last name), she works for XXXXXXX. I extended my hand to shake hers and then he said 'Pam, this is Rebecca (last name) she works on the XXXXXXXX project in my office'. Is that the correct way etiquette-wise to introduce two people?

So what is the proper way, I've always been curious - if you are with someone do you introduce them to the person who you come upon or do you introduce the person who you run into to the person you are with.

I know this sounds terribly confusing, but I'd love to know what is proper.

My spare bedroom needs to be painted. Im not sure what colour to go with. It is a very bright room and very warm as it gets the sun all day. The furniture is pine and wooden floors so its a blank canvas at the moment. I was thinking of maybe a pale purple or lilac as a feature wall. Because its such a warm and bright room I don't mind choosing a cool colour scheme. Don't want to do red, green or neutral colours such as browns and creams. Have these colours already around the house.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

Hi>
I brought my 1981 model 4.9 turbo back with me from being ex-pat in the Mid-East. Nice LHD white thing without the silly eagle transfer on the bonnet.
A somewhat extravagant move at the time, but I don't regret it.
I was wisely disuaded from the 7.0 version.
It got me nicely across desert highways at speed, and now toodles around rural Bedfordshire. Hey Ho.
Many of the UK insurance folks have not heard of one, nor have tyre & exhaust emporiums.

Any goodly humourous thoughts on the silly item ?

Bob.
