Yep, and it walks hand in hand with the martyr complex. When you tell someone you don't need their religion or religious opinions and they won't go away, after you tell them to do so the second time they start crying "You are persecuting me!" when it's nothing of the sort.

They want to stick it to you--period!
You see, the saving of you is to CONTROL you, which is another way to STICK it to you.
So as soon as you see someone coming toward you with a savior complex, make yourself SCARCE!

Actually that's pretty right on. These people aren't interested in you at all, its a selfish act. They get angry when you won't cooperate.
