I dream too much during sleep. My dreams are vivid, colourful, intense. I almost never have nightmares. Some are slightly prophetic. All trouble me in my waking life. I read somewhere that intense dreams may be the symptoms of a neurosis or hysteria. (Freud, Jung) The only thing I know is that they originate from my extremely active imagination - plus, I read, write and think very much during the day. Please help me ease my mind, I am afraid that such dream activity may be abnormal.

You have a very complex mind, and you prob have a lot on your mind. Do you eat just before you go to sleep?.... Try not to close to bed time, eating to close to bed time can trigger dreams, sometimes even bad dreams! Also try clearing your mind, even try yoga before you go to sleep, this may help. But you know they say some of the greatest minds in history had very vivid dreams = ) If the dreams continue try not to fight them..... pay attention to them..... as soon as you wake up, right down everything you can remember about them. Pay attention to what your dreams are telling you -= ) good luck and take care = )

There is a sleep disorder called insomnia, one of the common tell tale signs of insomnia are frequent vivid dreams in one night's sleep. Also normally leaves you tired during the day. Other things to look for are waking up after a dream and having trouble getting back to sleep; having multiple thoughts running through your mind when you lay down to go to sleep. Basically, you're mind never gets a full nights sleep like it needs. Insomnia can be a serious problem and may lead to other health problems such as depression or anxiety.

Rest easy. When I was depressed... there were no dreams. Now that the depression is almost completely gone, the dreams and quality sleep are slowly coming back. When I have a dream-filled night, I have a great day. Apparently the dreams are an indicator of how well I''m sleeping. As far as neurosis or hysteria, that's ridiculous. Cultivate that wonderful imagination, but don't let it develop into axiety or phobia, that's totally counterproductive.

remember they are exactly that - dreams, so therefore shouldn't be troubling you in waking life, especially as they are not nightmares. You should recognise the fact that dreams are often our subconscious mind trying to be heard, think carefully about your dreams and what they mean, but make sure you don't take them literally. Everyone has many dreams through the night, it is probably because of your active mind that you are able to remember so many. You should be glad you are so in touch with your subconsciousness, this is very healthy.

I hope not because I too dream very vividly and quite often. I actually look forward to them most of the time. Sometimes I don't understand the message but I believe dreams are the way that our brain deals with everyday stress, our life, and our fantasies. Our way of "so called" coping. I feel bad for people who can't dream because they are missing out on some very wonderful things.

I have the same thing.
I have deja voo alot and most of my dreams come true but it's not bad. Just relax and let things happen. If your always worrying about it then you will never be able to live instead of dream. I have never heard of people having hysteria from dreaming but I'm sure it can cause paranoya from worrying about it lol you are fine. ENJOY LIFE!!

Dreams are suppressed feelings in your sub-concious part of your brain. It is a way to express your emotions. This is natural for a person. so, don't worry if you dream too much. It is part of everyday living.
